Ralph Lauren Bloomingdale's walnut sculptures

This project was a departure from the norm for me. The client had an image of a 1970's sculpture made of wood that he wanted 7 variations of. The pieces had compound angles so that any one view presented many interesting facets to look at. The pieces were cut on the bandsaw from solid blocks of walnut I had laminated together and then finish sanded on an edge sander before applying paste wax.
